You Could Win $50,000 to Grow Your Business from Chichi Eburu, CEO of Juvia's Place

If you’re a Black-owned beauty brand looking to get your products on shelves and into the hands of consumers,

Chichi Eburu, CEO of Juvia’s Place, is offering you a helping hand.

JUVIA’S PLACE GRANT

Under Chichi Eburu, the company has partnered with beauty e-commerce site BeautyMNL to launch a grant program that will award $50,000 in combined funding to six Black-owned brands. The winners will get $5,000 each and one year of marketing support through promotions on Juvia’s Place and BeautyMNL websites and social media campaigns.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR BLACK-OWNED BEAUTY COMPANIES

Chichi Eburu is thrilled to be able to support Black-owned beauty companies as they have been an important part of their business for over a decade. They hope this program will help more Black entrepreneurs get the resources they need to grow their brands and reach new customers.

This is also a great opportunity for consumers interested in supporting their local economies, buying products from people who look like them and investing in innovative beauty products that reflect their values as consumers.

REASON FOR THE GRANT

The grant program is part of Juvia’s Place’s larger mission to support Black-owned brands. It launched its first beauty line in 2016, intending to be inclusive and representative of women of color. It added a new line called Fenty by Rihanna Makeup, created by makeup artist Sir John Jones and modeled on Rihanna herself. As more people discover brands like Fenty Beauty and Juvia’s Place through social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, they’re looking for ways to support these businesses through their purchases.

This program allows customers to do just that while helping entrepreneurs trying hard to build their businesses succeed financially.
